Professional Bird Trainer

With more than 20 years of professional bird-training experience—including a decade at Australia Zoo as a senior bird keeper and bird-show manager—Jason Jordan has worked with and trained an extraordinary variety of native and exotic birds, ranging from parrots and waterbirds to a condor and Australia’s powerful birds of prey.
 

Based on the Sunshine Coast and working throughout Queensland, Raptor Vision provides private and group bird-of-prey experiences, educational presentations, public demonstrations, school visits, corporate events, resort entertainment, photography opportunities and professional free-flight bird shows.
 

Our trained birds are also available for weddings, television, film, advertising and special productions. Luna, our experienced ring-bearing barn owl, has completed more than 500 weddings, creating an unforgettable moment as she flies down the aisle carrying the wedding rings.
 

Raptor Vision also undertakes specialist bird-of-prey rehabilitation using professional free-flight conditioning and falconry-based training techniques. This work helps recovering raptors rebuild their fitness, confidence, flight ability and natural hunting skills before release.
