Raptor Vision – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Raptor Vision.
By booking an experience with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions written in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and standard wildlife industry practice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Weather Policy

Bird of prey experiences are weather-dependent for the safety and welfare of our animals.

We will postpone your booking if there is:

  • Rain or drizzle

  • Storms

  • Wet or muddy ground

  • Strong or unpredictable wind

  • Extreme heat or humidity

  • Any conditions that may risk bird safety

If we postpone due to weather:

  • The session is rescheduled, not cancelled

  • No refund is provided

  • Your booking remains valid until completed

  • We will offer multiple new dates and work with you to find one that suits

Under the ACL, weather delays are considered a minor failure, and the required remedy is resupply, not refund.

2. Rescheduling (Customer-Initiated)

You may reschedule:

  • 48+ hours notice: free

  • Less than 48 hours: $50 rebooking fee

  • No show: booking forfeited, no refund

3. Refund Policy

Raptor Vision provides refunds only where required by the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds are NOT provided for:

  • Weather postponements

  • Change of mind

  • Personal circumstances

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Customer illness

  • Inability to attend after booking

Your booking will ALWAYS be honoured with resupply.

Refunds MAY be considered if:

  • Raptor Vision is unable to provide the service within a reasonable timeframe

  • A “major failure” under ACL applies (rare for weather-based experiences)

4. Medical & Special Circumstances

If a participant becomes medically unable to attend:

  • We can provide open-ended credit with no expiry

  • You may transfer the booking to another person at no cost

  • We will work compassionately where possible

Refunds are not automatic and will be considered individually.

5. Animal Welfare & Safety

Raptor Vision reserves the right to modify, shorten, or adjust the experience if required for:

  • Bird welfare

  • Sudden weather changes

  • Safety concerns

  • Behavioural factors

This does not make the session eligible for refund.

6. Photography & Media

You are welcome to take photos and videos.
Raptor Vision may also take photos during the experience and use them for marketing unless you request otherwise.

7. Liability

All participants accept that wildlife experiences include some inherent risk.
You agree to follow all instructions provided by staff and handle all birds safely and responsibly.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, attending, or paying for any Raptor Vision service, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
