Raptor Vision

Based on the Sunshine Coast, Raptor Vision is a bird of prey rehabilitation and conservation centre built around one simple belief — that these birds matter, and that people who encounter them up close will believe that too.

We take on a small number of cases at a time, giving each bird the time, space, and individual attention that genuine recovery demands.

Our specialty is free flight rehabilitation — and it goes well beyond simply healing an injury. A young eagle, falcon, or owl that comes to us hasn't just lost its health. In many cases it's never had the chance to learn what it needs to survive. How to read the wind off a hillside. How to lock onto a thermal and climb. How to chase, commit, and make a kill.

We work to teach exactly that. Drawing on the ancient principles of falconry — refined over thousands of years of working partnership between humans and birds of prey — we use free flight training, mechanical lure systems, and drag lines with simulated prey to rebuild not just the bird's body but its instincts. Because a bird of prey that can't hunt isn't truly free, no matter how well its wing has healed.

For the birds that become part of our education program, that same depth of training and handling makes them something genuinely special. Our eagles, falcons, and owls work across a wide range of roles:

  • Public shows and flight demonstrations — showcasing the speed, power, and precision of birds of prey in full flight

  • School and community education — bringing conservation to life for the next generation

  • Private experiences — one-on-one time with our birds, tailored to you, whether you're a complete newcomer or someone with a deep passion for raptors

  • Group experiences — shared encounters for families, friends, and small groups, combining education with something genuinely unforgettable

  • Hands-on experiences — intimate encounters where you learn about raptor biology, behaviour, and the art of falconry from the people who live it every day

  • Photoshoots — stunning sessions with our birds in natural Sunshine Coast settings

  • Weddings and private events — from ring-bearing owls to breathtaking aerial displays

  • Corporate events and team building — unique, memorable experiences with a genuine conservation message

  • TV, film, and advertising — trained birds available for productions, bringing authenticity that can't be faked

Every booking directly funds our rehabilitation work. It's that simple.
